I am visiting Costa Rica in two weeks; staying in San Jose', Arenal and Playa Hermosa. I have lots of gently loved Beanie Babies from my daughters. If I have room in my suitcase does anyone know of a school or church that might be interested?

I think there is an orphanage up near Arenal, in La Fortuna. Others on board may know more about this, but I'm pretty sure various posters have mentioned taking things there.

How long are you staying in San Jose??

Once you tell me , I can find the phone number or e-mail...from the National Orphanatory!! And you can talk to them directly...

My God if those angels need dolls and love!!
