Costa Rica car rental?

Hello. I'm going to stay in Manuel antonio next summer. The shuttle from airport to hotel is so expensive. $180 one way..Is it better to rent a car or is there any cheaper shuttles? Thank you.

That's probably for a private shuttle. You could check the Interbus; it's a shared shuttle and very popular. Renting a car is another option, but people don't use them much in Manuel Antonio since things are pretty close together there. For any tours you do, they'll usually pick you up at your hotel and drop you off afterward.

I've taken Interbus. It's a good service. Definitely check them out.

As a point of cost comparison, we rented a 4WD SUV from Vamos last year, and with full insurance, it cost $65/day.
