Costa Rica--Anyone familiar with this Property?
A friend has asked me about this. . .I am thinking not so great. Appears to be between Quepos and Jaco perhaps? Anyone know anything about it? Thanks!

I stayed at El Parador in 1997 or 98, and did not enjoy it at all. We never had towels, staff arrived too late to have breakfast before daytrips left, way too baroque (sp?) midevil/dark/antique furnishings out of character for C.R., indifferent service, located up a very steep road.
An elegant property, but out of place and without food or service to match.

Yeah, I know where it is. .have driven down there looking around. I'm thinking this is not the same property, but something further north, perhaps in the Quepos area. It says "NEAR Manuel Antonio". It is a timeshare property. . .do you think it is really the same? I thought it looked dark and dreary too.

I think it's the same shillmac. If you go on their website, they list an apartment for longer stays (but no pic), but I googled parador qupos apartment and found on orbitcostarica.com a pic that is the same on your site. I think the location is outstanding, has never seemed to get the same on reviews though.
