Costa Rica

Traveling to Costa Rica for the Christmas holidays. Any recommendations on any all-inclusives?

I wish I could help more with this question, but AIs aren't very popular in Costa Rica. They are a few in the northwest Guanacaste area, but we've never stayed in one, and they aren't reviewed much on the boards. Just a heads up though that rates in CR often skyrocket during Christmas holidays. If it doesn't have to be AI, we love Tulemar Bungalows in the Manuel Antonio area.

Thank you for your suggestions. They are booked to the holidays. But, I was able to talk to someone from the Bosque Lodge. They have availability. Has anyone stayed there?

I haven't heard of it. Is that the full name? Do you happen to mean Bosque del Cabo?

Yes, that is the full name. We were able to get reservations at Tulemar Resort in Manuel Antonio. It had quite a few of good reviews.

We've stayed at Bosque del Cabo and loved it - excellent hiking trails and wonderful wildlife spotting there. It has a very get away from it all feeling. Tulemar is more comfortable and less rustic, and they have their own beach, very nice. Lots of good restaurants nearby that you can walk to.

For any AI you better hurry up…check Westin Playa Conchal…maybe the best AI in Costa Rica ..great beach.
We are not famous for AIs…sorry
