CORCOVADO LODGE TENT CAMP

Has anyone stayed here? It looks great, but I was wondering how far the travel time is from the closest airport... I cant seem to find too much detail online...

THANKS!!!

I stayed there a couple years ago. We took a plane to the local airport which is a dirt strip on the beach. We were met at the strip by a hotel rep, our luggage was put in a horse cart, and we walked along the beach to the hotel about 30 minutes. I think we made the arrangements through the hotel or CR expeditions.

Pura_Vida,
Did you enjoy your stay here? Is it as amazing as it looks on the web? Would you recommend it? Did you see much wildlife?

THANKS!!!

I loved my stay there and did a day hike to the river, a horseback ride, and hike up the mountain. It was great and we saw lots of nature. My brother-in-law did not like it because the bathrooms are a hike from the tents and the eating was family style but I expected those things and enjoyed it. My favorite part was sitting in front of my tent watching scarlet macaws eating for hours. It was really special. There is a night in the tree tops that we did not do - but a couple at the lodge at the time stayed up there overnight and thought it was great.

Pura_Vida (or anyone else),
What is the name of the local airport near Corcovado? Is it Puerto Jimenez?
I am trying to make this happen!!!
THANKS!!!
