Copper Canyon
Can anyone tell me the name of the town that the Copper Canyon train leaves from - just across the Texas border, I think.

Is the train considered safe? Would like to make arrangements for a week's stay in the canyon area.

Any help appreciated.

RP

Rosemary, I just types in www.coppercanyon.com and came up with their website! I was once told that you talk to a pc like a 3 year old--keep it simple.
We received catalogs from several travel companies and all offer this trip. My husband worked in Mexico a couple of years ago and talked to several others from Canada & the US who had taken the trip several times--so it must be very safe. Have fun.

I just returned from the Copper Canyon on October 11. A fabulous trip. We took the train from Chihuahua making stops along the way all the way down to Los Mochis. The train was very comfortable; had a dining car. You'll love it. Beautiful scenery.

Can anyone tell how long the train ride is from Cauhetemoc to Los Mochis and what was the cost, one way?
