Cool Hotels

Any recommendations for cool, hip, swanky hotels in Sao Paolo and Rio? Like ones you would find in Wallpaper Magazine -- i.e. cool architecture, modernist furnishings, etc.?

In Rio, the Marina Flat Hotel, in Sao Paulo, there's one that is member of Design Hotels, but I don't remember the name, sorry... I'll tell you later.

Surlok

Thanks for the responses! Is the Marina Flat Hotel on the beach in Rio? I couldn't find it on the internet.

Thanks, though, for the suggestions!

Sorry, the name of the hotel is slightly different, Marina All Suites, and not flat hotel. Here it is:

http://www.marinaallsuites.com.br/ingles/home.html

Enjoy,

S

PS: I forgot, yes, the hotel is beach front, although not Ipanema, but Leblon Beach. They are one after the other, same sea shore. Ipanema comes first, if you're heading South. The two beaches together are about 4 miles lenght. The Marina is less than a mile from Ipanema Beach.

Correcting myself, the Ipanema and Leblon beaches total lenght ( both together) is 2, and not 4 miles. I'm used to km, not miles, and it's 3 km.
