Confused about Sansa vs. Nature Air
I am trying to book a one-way flight from Tambor to San Jose on December 5. Sansa flights take 35 mintues, whereas Nature Air flights take 1 hour, 20 minutes. How is this possible? Perhaps there is something I do not understand. Also, which airline do you prefer? Thank you!

Did you check to see if the Nature Air flight makes a stop somewhere along the way?

We always use Sansa because it's conveniently located right next to the SJO airport. I believe Sansa has single engine planes, while Nature Air has double engines. We've always felt completely safe with Sansa, but I'd just use whichever one fit in better with your schedule. I don't think that Nature Air time is correct.

If I'm reading this right, it says 25 minutes between San Joe and Tambor unless you're stopping somewhere else. |
Yes - you're right; there is 1 stop. Although it doesn't say where. We will just go with Sansa then. Although my husband is scared of little planes and the fact that it's 1 engine rather than 2 probably won't help. But I won't point that out. Thanks again!

I've never cared for them either! Am learning to enjoy--Costa Rica is as pretty from the air as from the ground. Have a great time!

Personally we've never used Nature Air we usually fly Sansa from San Jose to Tamarindo. I think Nature Air is a little higher priced. I do know that one time we went, they flew via Liberia on our way to Tamarindo. Sometimes that's only on one of the one way flights. That might be why it takes longer.
