Confused about bus service frm Cancun to PDC
 

Does any one know if there is bus service directly from Cancun airport to PDC.<BR><BR>Will be staying in PDC area and want to take a bus from Cancun to that area. <BR><BR>Any one has any info?<BR><BR>Thank you.

The Riviera bus runs from the Cancun airport to downtgown Playa Del Carmen almost hourly every day. Cost is about $7.00 each way. If you 'just' miss one, it can seem like a long wait, but it sure is a heck of alot cheaper than a cab.

I agree, take that bus if you want to save money..I've been told it has pictures of big fish on the sides of the bus...you need to go all the way to the end of the airport terminal to find it.

the bus is blue and called the Riviera Maya, which is on the side, cannot miss it. Once you are outside you will find the bus at the other end and you will have to pass the departure entrance. I believe te first bus leaves around 9:30 and the last bus like 7:30, but not real sure about that. I also think they run about every hour.

We were there this past February. We saw the Riviera Maya bus at the airport and at PDC's bus terminal. We didn't use it because our hotel is about 10-15 minutes north of PDC, so it wouldn't be convenient for us. <BR>If your hotel is in PDC, the Riviera Maya bus would work for you. The cost is about $6.50 USD. It takes you from the airport to 5th Ave in PDC. The bus is modern and air conditioned. I was impressed with the Mexican bus services in the area. Good luck!

Just used the Riviera bus to the Cancun airport again yesterday. An excellent buy at 65 pesos!<BR>The bus will let you off directly in front of the international check in terminal at the Cancun airport.<BR>From the Cancun terminal, you can buy your ticket at the Riviera booth, on the left, just before you go out the front doors of the international arrivals terminal. He will contact the driver to let him know you are coming and direct you to the bus.<BR>I have used this bus often and it offers good service at a really good price!
