Clothing for Monteverde

We'll be in Monteverde the first week of January. Any tips for what kind of clothes to pack for that area? Is it cold?

during the day, light trousers and a tshirt.
after sunset, its windy and temperature drops, so maybe light jacket or sweater

We found it to be damp when we were there in mid-late January. Pants, sweater, jacket most nights. Hiked in pants and layers.

Consider taking one of those cheap rain ponchos in a neutral color. It won't frighten wildlife away but will keep you dry. Have a great time!

I was there in December and it was warm (about 65degreesF but wet. Dress in layers. Long pants, Tshirt, light jacket and rain poncho, waterproof hiking shoes are a good idea if you plan to do a canopy tour and hiking.
