Christmas in Panama City, Panama

Hola! My family (husband and 20 year old son) will be spending Christmas in Panama. We will be staying in the old part of the city, in an AirBnB apartment. I am looking for suggestions as to how to spend Christmas Day. Are there any special Panama Christmas traditions? Is there a church you would recommend for a beautiful Christmas service? Any information would be much appreciated!
Thanks --
Debra

I would consider attending a service or visiting Iglesia de San Francisco de Asis, Iglesia del Carmen or Iglesia del Carmen for their Christmas decorations.

Some traditional Panamanian food that is eaten at Christmas is Pavo (turkey) and Relleno (stuffing), Arroz Dulce and Tamales (cornmeal wrapped in plantain leaves and boiled).
