CHILE

I WILL BE IN CHILE FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE AS MUCH OF THE COUNTRY AS POSSIBLE.ON A BUDGET TO ECONOMY ALLOWANCE.
I PLAN ON SPENDING THE FIRST TWO NIGHTS IN SANTIAGO TO GET ADJUSTED AND MAKE PLANS FOR THE REST OF MY TRIP.
I AM TRYING TO DECIDE IF I SHOULD RENT A CAR/4X4 FOR THE DURATION OF THE MONTH OR GET A THREE TRIP FLY PASS FROM LANAIR AND ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION IN THREE DIFFERANT AREA'S USING CAR BUSES FERRIES ECT.
WAS PLANNING ON DOING THE SOUTH FIRST AS I'M NOT CRAZY ABOUT COLD, COLD WEATHER AND DOING THE NORTH LAST WOULD GIVE ME A CHANCE TO THAW OUT.
IF ANYBODY HAS ANY SUGESTIONS I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HEAR THEIR OPIONS.
I LIKE TO HIKE, CAMP( NOT SO SURE ABOUT THE COLD WEATHER) AND EXPLORE DIFFERANT PLACES PEOPLE AND CULTURES.
SUE.

All capitals is difficult to read, and some people would consider it akin to shouting. ((R))

I suggest you first visit:
http://www.visit-chile.org
After visiting this website you can plan your trip.

Also you can find better airline deals to travel around Chile once you arrive to the Country, but buses are very good way to move around and no need to rent a car if travelling on a budget to economy allowence.
