No, sorry, but I'm partial to Anchorage Hotel, on it's own beach a hop skip from town and away from human traffic. Nice rooms in units, two bds, private bath, microwave/frig, cable tv, verandah for 45.00/7% per nt. Safe, clean and good value for the $.

Katie Valk
Belize

I haven't stayed at Seaside Cabanas but I have been in most of the rooms, most recently in August. They are popular due to the location, right to the left of the main public pier where the water taxis come in. I think they are pretty nice but a bit overpriced for what you get.

I agree that Anchorage is good. My fave budget spot, though, is Tree Tops -- spic n span rooms, nice owners, close to the water. About US$35 or $40.

--Lan Sluder
Belize First

I see now that you are looking for a thatch cabana on the beach. Seaside Cabanas are technically that, though they may not be exactly what you had in mind. They are in a rather busy area just as you get off the water taxi, so it is not as if they are set off by themselves on a private beach.

--Lan Sluder
Belize First Magazine
