<BR>Has anyone stayed here lately? How is the food? How private are the pool suites? Elsewhere to eat in the area?

I didn't stay there, but there are lots of restaurants in the area,so you shouldn't have problems that way. Place looked gorgeous!

I stayed there last thanksgiving, and will be returning this thanksgiving. The hotel is fabulous, the food superb, and nothing negative to say about it. The private pools are private, very small, like soaking pools. There are 2 salt water pools, and 1 fresh water infinity pool for the hotel.<BR><BR>A very relaxing, gorgeous place, but not cheap.

I honeymooned there in Dec 2001. Had a private pool suite, and it was PRIVATE. No bathing suits required on our deck or in our pool, unless a gardener was working on the hillside. Loved this place, it was amazing. Also stayed at Villa del Sol but Casa Que Canta was much more private and more special.
