caravan tour of costa rica

We are in our late sixties but in good shape. We are considering taking a caravan tour of Costa Rica next February. We have never been on a bus tour so are a little concerned if we will enjoy this kind of trip. Would love some feedback from anyone who has been on these trips. Is there enough time to enjoy each stop or is it very rushed. There are two different trips offered..a natural paradise tour or a tropical adventure tour..any idea of which is best? Thanks.

I have not personally taken the Caravan Costa Rica tour but one of my close friends and her sister did and they loved it. I don't think they offered more than one tour when she did it. I'd get some more feed back for you but she's in Peru right now. She does like planned escorted trips.
My daughter and I traveled to CR four years ago I don't care for escorted trips myself. We used Latindestinations.com (part of tripmaster) to make our reservations. This is the vacation we booked http://www.tripmasters.com/latin/Cos...e_Beaches.aspx
we added a day to San Jose City (did not actually stay in San Jose - not very clean) the extra day there our hotel arranged a tour to a coffe plnatation a waterfall and to The Poás Volcano National Park. So glad we got to see the Poas volcano.Any way they arrange for you your transport to each point of stay. You never have to plan how to get from A-B. I have used Tripmaster in Costa Rica, Italy and Belize with good results. Any more info just let me know. Have a good trip.
