Caracas In November '97

My husband and I are thinking of going to Caracas in late November '97. We have never been to South America. We will only be there from Wednesday until Monday. Any suggestions or tips of must-see sightseeing [both cultural & historical as well as "tourist traps"] What will the weather be like ? Please send a response to my e-mail as soon as you can. Hi- I am from Israel and i visited Caracas few years ago.
The best thing to do is to stay in the hotel :-).

The only place i can say it is nice is Purto-la crose next to Barzelona.
LOTS OF TOURIST.

I travel to Caracas often. I would not reccomend it for a vacation spot. If you are deadset on Caracas then get out of the city and go into the mountains to a German settlement, Colon Tovar, it is right out of Bavaria. You should also go to the Amazon. I think you have to take a small plane but any travel agent should know.If you want to go to S.America Equador is a great place and is a totally diverse country with lots to do and friendly people. I loved it. Good luck on your vacation.

Please don't respond to my message. We have decided not to go to Caracas this year.
