Cancun Palace vs Antigua
 

My parents are recommending that we celebrate their 50th anniversary in Cancun, at Cancun Palace after making tentative reservations at Pineapple Beach Club in Antigua. We're a family of 13 and we want this to be special. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a big difference between Antigua and Cancun. Cancun, while being less expensive, tends to be more of a "party" place. Antigua is very laid back, and has beautiful beaches. Cancun is much easier to get to, while Antigua can be a journey from some places in the US. I have heard wonderful things about Pineapple (we stayed at another resort on Antigua), and I know that the island itself is a wonderful place.
