is it safe in Cancun regarding the Coronavirus.......are people canceling their trip to Cancun. I live in Florida and I have a reservation booked
at the Royal Sands in Mid April. Would like to hear from people that are actually there now. Thanks

More likely you'd pick up something from another US traveler, say one from Washington State. Practice social distancing from other tourists!

We’re in the same boat. In Florida now and plan to go to Riviera Maya in April. Taking a wait and see approach for now. No big money loss if we cancel the trip.

As of 3 days ago there were no known cases in Cancun per a Dallas newspaper, however who knows if the planes will be flying or have restrictions. In fact my last two trips to Cancun airport, I caught a sinus infection on the plane.

How could you possibly know that?

I would encourage you to pay far more heed to information available on the websites for the CDC and WHO than to anything any of us might say on a travel forum.

Best wishes!
