Cancun Marriott?
 

Any comments on The Marriott in Cancun? <BR>Considering it fo March.

I'd say that if you like to be at the epicenter of tourism in a tourist city that is the epicenter of tourism for the entire country -- go for it.

We are going to the Marriott over Christmas break. I'll give feedback after New Years.

I live and work down here in Cancun. Have been here now for 6 years and know pretty much about the hotels. I actually stayed overnight for about 4 days in the Marriott and really enjoyed myself. The pool is really nice and clean. The staff pleasant and professional. Hotel itself is beautiful and a very important part for me is that it is really clean. Two of my favorite restaurants are there, the Mikado and Champions. I recommend this hotel completely. If you want more info just let me know here in the message board.

Thanks for your replies. Since posting i have heard that the beach @ Cancun is often 'closed' due to severe undertows. <BR>Is this true???
