I will be going to an all-inclusive resort about 25 miles north of Cancun for my honeymoon. I will be there for about eight days. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a day trip or exploration my future wife and I could get into.
We plan on laying around and doing the honeymoon thing most the time but would like to jump out and explore the area one or two of the days. Any suggestions would be helpfull. I have never been to Mexico. We will be going in January of '09.

Are you sure it's north, there are manu AIs about 25 miles south of Cancun.

The ruins at Tulum are great to visit, along with a stop in PLaya Del Carmen for dinner and maybe sme shopping.

You're better off going to Cozumel alot pettier and quiter, ous less expensive, Not to mention less people and lesss crowds, Safer too.,
