Cancun at Easter, What should I expect
I am travelling to cancun on good friday for two weeks, what should I expect for this period
|
Screaming kids running up and down your hotel halls and acting like horrible americans. Drunken students blocking the streets. We did it twice. No More.
|
Same @ mid-March? That's when we will be there...but it's not too late to cancel
& re-schedule!
|
Cancun at spring break time????...Unless you're a high school or college student yourself, don't do it!!
Try Playa Del Carmen...The spring breakers don't seem to go there...

LIZ
|
You could also land in Cancun and go to Isla Mujeres--a small island 10 miles off Cancun. We are always there the last two weeks of March. There are always some spring breakers there but they are just great--they come to the island to get away from other spring breakers.

We have a home grown brochure on the island that we can e-mail you on request.
dan and ginny

Isla Mujeres is for party animals. No way is it quiet. Was there during spring break and I know. We spent our time at Tulum and Chitchan Itza (Mayan ruins),& snorkeling. The Marriott Casa Magna was where we stayed and they forbid college kids there. It was fine, food was very good (no sickness),and we could relax. However everywhere else was a zoo, except maybe for the Ritz. Don't bother going into the club district...drunks. Taxi cabs are good, drivers are clean and drive nice cars. They are dressed in all white. Native people are good and desire to please.
