Cancun all inclusive

Can any one help me narrow down on a resort in the Cancun area that has a great nightlife/bars? I see a lot of people say Oasis is the party hotel but when I read reviews it sure seems you will starve for the trip due to the food being so bad. Also plenty of reviews saying you'll wait at least 30 mins for a drink. Few people going for my 30th and want a fun hotel not one that at 9 pm there is nothing going on!!

Does it have to be right in Cancun? If you want an adults only all inclusive look into the Valentine Imperial Maya. It is south of Cancun. It is a large resort, good beach, good food, usually dancing in the evenings and activities during the day.
You don't give any sort of budget so it is really difficult to name resorts for you.

You may get more responses on TA for this specific type of question of choosing/comparing properties.

I agree with checking the TA forums, don't pay much attention to the reviews myself but a lot of posters there do AI.
Riu Cancun is often recommended as more upscale than the Oasis chain but still having nightlife and close to clubs.
