Cancun AI hotels - Adults Only

We have a group of 8 couples looking to stay in Cancun this Aprl. We are all under 30 and our budget is around $2000 per couple for hotel and airfare.

My issue is that there are so many hotels to choose from! I know we wouldn't want a "budget" AI resort because usually quality and service is greatly compromised. Any places in this price range worth checking out?

At $2000 per couple including air fare you aren't going to find many higher end adults only AI resorts. In fact you may not even be able to find a "budget" adults only AI. Adults only resorts are more expensive than family resorts and April is also a pricey time to go.
With your budget you might be better off staying in a condo and sharing the costs. A lot of them can be leased with a chef and housekeeping services.

Hi,
there are always some options. A lot of depends on your flight & the place where are you flying from.

I will recommend you to get a contact to some Mexican companies, they are much cheaper & the service is often much better & you can also talk to them personally in Cancun.

I am going always with www.lastminute-services.com

Have a wonderful vacation! :)

Here's a list of AI resorts in Mexico.

With that budget in April I don't think you will find what you are looking for, but do check.

You might consider Cozumel. Cozumel tends to have cheaper rates than Cancun and Playa del Carmen.

PS. Couples is in Jamaica.

KVR- great resource- thanks!! Is April more expensive than mid December there? Just curious. We are finding soooooooo much to look at with your previous tips- thanks again.

The first two weeks of December can be less expensive than April. After that the holiday rates come in and late December can be one of the most expensive times to travel.
March and April are considered part of spring break which is why the rates can be high.

I have found that the first 2 weeks of November, the first 2 weeks of December, the 2nd and 3rd week of May and the week after Labor Day in September are the least expensive travel dates. Late August through October is probably a good time also to consider since school is back in session and it's prime hurricane season.

Starting from the 3rd week of December through the end of April is considered "High Season". You'll find the most expensive rates during that time.
