Want to go to cancun for 4 days in early March. Any idea where to stay? Should I go with all inclusive?

Grand Meliá Cancún: Jan. 31 2006
Hilton Cancún Golf and Spa resort: May 1, 2006

CasaMagna Marriott: Feb. 1, 2006
Occidental Caribbean Village: Late 2006
Presidente InterContinental: March 1, 2006. The hotel's Alfredo de Roma restaurant is open.
Ritz–Carlton Cancún: April 2006.
Westin Regina Resort Cancún: March 15, 2006
From the above I would stay at either the Le Meredien, JW or Casa Manga Marriott, or the Fiesta Americanas. All of the Royal Resorts have been open since early November. None are all-inclusive. Not to worry, there are many restaurants in the area. Cancun was hard hit by Hurricane Wilma last October but the beaches are coming back a little every day. Check Brant's website at for beach videos and photos. As you will see the beach is repairing itself dramaticly and naturally. The Mexican government is starting a massive beach restoration project as well. Considering your trip is still 2 months away, the beach should be significantly better by then.
