Can I bring packaged foods into Mexico via plane?e?

I will be flying into Aguacalientes, Mexico and want to bring several bags of Ghiridelli chocolate and three packaged boxes of Ghiradelli brownie mix. The candies only add up to less than 3 lbs. The Ghiridelli brownie mix boxes are 14 ounces and sealed. Will I have any problem bringing these to Mexico?

I don’t recall ever being asked what I was bringing into Mexico. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

You should be fine. We always bring. Coffee, sugar, spices.

The only issue might be with TSA and the box mix, but especially if it is in the checked bags, shouldn't be a problem. If in carryon, it might require added screening.
