camper travel
 

We are going to be driving down through mexico in a small rv. This is new to us. we are world travelers but by plane in the past. We have also lived in the Yucatan so are familiar with mexico in general but the Yucatan is so touristed that there are more safety measures in place as they value the tourist dollars and don't want to run them off. My main concern is safety where I never have had that much in the past. I think is is because we have this nice Roadtrek RV and wonder how safe it is to bring it to Mexico traveling toward and south of Puerto Vallarta. (and more gas stops are a concern). Has anyone done that kind of travel recently?
