Calling Avrooster...

You seem thoroughly clued up on all things Argentinan, Avrooster...

May I pose a question? What are the most detailed and lowest scale road and topographical maps of Argentina available, and where might one obtain them? I don't see anything on the 'net any more detailed than 1/2,00,000 or so. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not quite sure about what you need, RedStater, but I Googled "Mapas Argentina" and several options came up.

For instance:

Excellent, Avrooster...that site is by far the best I've found on the web. I'd been googling, of course, but in English. Duh.

What I had in mind were military maps or geographical topo maps...sort of the equivalent of what IGN puts out for France. Usually 1/250,000 scale, showing every footpath and back road extant.

Very helpful, Avrooster, thank you so very much.

"Have a great time in our country."

If only half the things I've heard are true, I'm sure that I will.

You'll find them at the Instituto Geográfico Militar

They are located in Palermo
