Cabo Matapolo v.Puerto Jimenez (Playa Platanares)
Hello Everyone,
I’m looking for some advice as to whether to spend a portion of my trip on the beaches around Cabo Matapolo (Matapolo itself, Backwash Bay or Pan Dulce) or closer to Puerto Jimenez on Playa Platanares. We are hoping for easy access to tours such as dolphin watching, zip lining, tree climbing, waterfall rappelling and river kayaking. I understand that the Matapolo area is more out of the way and the road getting there is in pretty bad shape. Does that make participating in the kind of tours I want to do difficult? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
