Cabinas Jiminez, Puerto Jiminez - Tell me your experience
Hola to all, just wondering who has stayed here and if so, what's your feeling about this place? It would just be for one night before heading down to Carate. We are looking at a private bungalow right on the ocean for an awesome $90/night-almost unheard of in that area. Would appreciate your input. Muchas gracias!

Fine for me on a road trip several years ago good value.
might also have a look at www.lookout-inn.com
Carate better for www.corcovado.org
www.jinetesdeosa.com also good sales sometimes
All good value for price for me in the past.

It's pretty much the best option in town. There are way cheaper places but few with the amenities CJ has. I've stayed in 2 of their rooms, both on the water. They have mini-fridges, fans, some have a/c, and a coffee maker (you have to bring own coffee/creamer though). It sounds like you're staying in the newer room which is on it's own, on the 2nd floor, above a seating area and next to the pool. Looks really nice. There is a great bakery right down the street for a quick breakfast & coffee; just past the police station.

The tree of us stayed at bungalow four nights this August.
In one (three) word(s): go for it.
Bungalow is a very spacious place, a large double bed and additional three bed / bunks for children. A small fridge, a coffee maker and A/C. The best part is large covered terrace / balcony with two tables just above the waterline. The bungalow was clean, also the bathroom was nice. Our remark was that free WIFI does not reach the bungalow, one has to seat at the reception area. The staff was very friendly. No breakfast yet just 2 min walk away is great local soda (have to check photos for name). For more photos go to TripAdvisor hotels review section. You can send a PM from there also for more info.

Oh #1 not the rancho. Okay, yes I've stayed in that one and so has Mr & Mrs shillmac - not all at the same time
. Very nice, all the way on the end next to the owners place. Nice deck! I think you will enjoy it. Next month, so soon, have fun!
