BZE airport to Water Taxi/Ambergris Caye

Hi - a group of five of us are traveling this week to Belize. Any suggestions for a private shuttle from BZE Belize airport to the water taxi? Also would love suggestions of places to see/things to do and places to eat in: Ambergris Caye and Placencia and San Ignacio (also how much time would you spend in each place). Thanks

We've stayed on Ambergris a couple of times at Victoria House and really enjoyed it. Our favorite thing was snorkeling at Hol Chan where we saw large rays, sea turtles, nurse sharks, and colorful tropical fish. It's often paired with Shark Ray Alley on tours. We got super cheap authentic food at Robin's Kitchen and really enjoyed it, just a side of the road guy with a grill basically when we were there. Also ate at El Fogon - good sangria and authentic food there. We got ice cream at D and E's Frozen Custard, and it was yummy. Other than that we ate at Victoria House - they have bar food and also an upscale restaurant that are both good. Searious Adventures is good for tours. We stayed at Chaa Creek in San Ignacio and loved doing a day trip to Tikal with PACZ tours, also really like canoeing in Baron Creek Cave. We flew over to Ambergris on Tropic Air so did not experience the water taxi.

We could help you better if you gave us more information:
How many nights?
How adventurous are you?
Budget per night?

No problem, d. That should read Barton Creek Cave up above. You may want to check out the ATM cave too - super popular.

You've chosen places that aren't really close to the caving or the Maya sites. I think it's possible to do the ATM cave trip from either Ambergris Caye or Placencia, but it will be a long day and you'd have to make special arrangements for transportation.
