heading to Buzios from Rio in March. Is it nice? Is it worth it?

Buzios is a nice little beach town. Nowhere near as "busy" as Rio. I went up took a cruise and basically relaxed. It was well worth it.

Buzios is very safe, this is about 110 miles north east of Rio, there is no crime there to speak of.

Buzios has a good night life in the downtown area, many bars and clubs and restaurants to choose from. March may be a touch after season so will be less crowded during the week but weekends will fill ip with Brazilians who do weekend trips. during the high season until end of February this place will be packed with tourists from South America and Europe. There are about 26 different little beaches that all have their own character, many nice beaches, it's really a great little place, well worth a visit.
