Bus - Cancun to Merida
 

We are flying into Cancun in February and taking the bus to Merida from Cancun. From what I can see, buses seem to go about every hour which would be great. Does anyone know which buses are first class and how often they travel during the day.

Check "uno.com.mx." too which has some English. If Uno has service on your route, it is a level above first class. It also has a link to ticket bus. beside uno look for "premier clase."

The www.ticketbus.com.mx is an excellent website offering complete schedules. ADO offers good first class service and ADO-GL offers lujo (luxury service) which includes soft drinks and coffee with extra leg room. Uno is excellent service also but I don't normally find their level of luxury necessary for a day trip from Cancun to Merida. They are very nice for long overnite runs!

I also might add, that the ticketbus site is also available in english and you are able to make reservations and select seats. The tickets must be picked up at least 2 hours in advance. I just used it to make reservation on Sept. 15--very convenient!
