Buenos Aires Guidebook
As a lifelong European traveller I now have an urge to vist B.A. Can you tell me which guidebooks are the best? I am not a budget traveller nor a backpacker type. I would like a book with hotels that have charm and restaurants and of course , tango ( I like to dance). Many thanks. Your forum has contributed to my desire to see BA.

Hi Michele,
There aren't very many guidebooks on B-A. I recently went to B-A armed with the Lonely Planet guide which is probably the best guide around. If you can't buy it in your bookstores, you can probably get it on Amazon.
Have a great time.
Kate

Hi traveler:
I don't read posts about Argentina.
My country offer magnificent landscapes, friendly people, the best steaks in the world, incredible, inexpensive wines,
and it's Capital --Buenos Aires-- is a safe city with a lot of cultural events, cafes everywhere, salsa and tango bars,
It's a good place to learn Spanish, and it's not so expensive as people says, when you live with a local.
I can help to you with some first hand info, and with a cheap lodging --homestay-- in BA.
Email me for any question.
[email protected]
