Wow....I have come across a true hotel bargain for anyone planning to travel to Buenos Aires in the next few weeks.....

The brand new Hotel Madero by Sofitel is running a grand opening special for $80dollars per double rooms, plus taxes. This price an incredible deal for a hotel of this quality.

The hotel just opened two weeks ago and is located in Puerto Madero, near the Cines of Puerto Madero.

Drdawggy, I went on the Sofitel site after I cked out the Hotel Madero site as I could see no place to ck rates & was quoted $210USD for Jan 19 & 20th. Could not see the promotion. Did I miss something or is it over? Thx again!

The $80 rate is a grand opening special. I don't know when the special ends, other than it was available for a friend who is traveling to BA at the end of November.....Try the hotel direct or use Travelocity for your dates.....

I looked for another friend for next March and received the same rate as you, $210...so it may be that the program ends in December......not sure....

I did a follow up search on Travelocity for low rates at the Madero.....

Mid December still shows the $80 rate and Mid January jumps to $130.....still lower than the $210 on the Sofitel site, but much higher than the introductory offer of $80...so the low offer must expire at the end of the year. Sorry.
