Buenos Aires- Costanera Sur

Hi, we will have one day in Buenos Aires before the flight back home. Since we are not really city people but like the outdoor, I am trying to find out what to do there.
I have read that there's Constanera Sur in BA, but the guide books do not go into any details, i.e is it opened all the time, how long is it. etc.
Any thoughts?

If there is any other outdoor activity (and I do not mean shopping what would you recommned.

Also we will need an accomodation nearby, any suggestions? Thanks a bunch.

Buenos Aires is a big city, it has open and wide boulevards, and it is fun, I believe to walk around and stop in a few landmarks. Food is also great. You can go tothe costanera, but frankly I do not see it as a great choice, instead go to Palermo a huge park, with a lake, and all kind of paths , it is located inside the city and it is very beautiful. I guess it will help to read in a good book about Buenos Aires.

In Palermo there are lots of activities, jogging, bycle riding, horse riding, etc. may be you would choose to rent some bikes.
