Hey Mixter603- I have been wondering where you guys have been. I thought I would see you on this posting and am so glad that you wrote. Nothing was as fun at Bosque after all you guys left. We had the best time and I am still telling everyone about our 12 perfect days in Heaven. I will email to talk about real estate and other things. We will definitely be back in Costa Rica next year and are already thinking about our itinerary.

janenicole,
Thanks for sharing! You must have checked out of Mariposa just before we arrived and took up residence in Mariposa, Congo, and Lapa!

The animal sanctuary sounds terrific. Wish we had done that, but as it were, we, like you, were on the go the entire time!

Looks like with just a small difference in timing, we could have had a major Fodor convention! Darn!

Francetrip and Shillmac missed the BIG group!

Whoever was asking about privacy, note that Lapa has lattice work at the end of the porch that is next to Congo. Adds to the privacy a bit. We never felt crowded or in need of more privacy. Lapa shower is high on all sides. Congo, too, I think.

shillmac,
Did the green vine snake happen to come visit you in Mariposa? One day right before lunch, I was sitting on the porch, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement coming down the sliding door. Was a snake! It headed across the porch and into the plants by the shower. That was the one day we didn't close up our sliding doors while we were hiking! Didn't do that again. Had to have an extra drink that night in order to sleep okay!

Oh my, no! Our daughter and her husband stayed in that cabina. They slept with their doors open (which we won't do), but if they had a visitor, they didn't know it. Otherwise, I would have heard my daughter all the way down at Lapa!
