Bosque del Cabo Deluxe Cabinas

My husband and I are planning our first trip to Bosque del Cabo and would love to stay in a deluxe cabina. For those of you that have been there, is there a certain cabina that we should request, or are they all equally amazing? We will be staying in the Corcovado National Park for several nights prior to our stay, so we would love a cabina with an excellent ocean view for the last half of our trip.
Any other tips on the lodge and surrounding are would be great too! Thanks!

They are all equally amazing but my faves are Pizote, Congo & Lapa. They all have wooden decks that look out over the water. Pizote was remodeled last year and is really spiffy, though it has 2 double beds which may not - or may! - be to your liking. Conogo & Lapa both have queen beds.

I also really love Tucan, it has a stone circular deck and is nice & roomy inside w/an outdoor tub and Mariposa which has the same and abuts the forest.

Tips....not sure how detailed I can get, it's 4am and I am actually headed to the airport to go back to CR (and Bosque) :) but sure others will chime in. Some quickies - the Primary tour w/Philip is great, the horseback riding tour is lots of fun, the Titi trail is always amazing for wildlife (as well as the entire driveway itself) and they usually have coffee out by 5am (if you're an early riser like me). Have fun!

We stayed in Tucan and loved it - we had great wildlife sightings there and saw lots of monkeys from the front porch of our cabin. There was a fruit tree nearby that they like.

You are going to love BdC! I was there two weeks ago (Casa Blanca) and don't think there is a bad cabina anywhere on the property.

As Tully says, the Titi Trail offered the most wildlife sighting. I spent hours there each morning photographing four species of monkeys, toucans and macaws.

I enjoyed the early morning birding w/ Carlos (which is off-site down in the pasturelands). Stop by the pond (on the driveway next to Casa Blanca) to check out the frogs after dinner every evening. One of my friends loved the tree climbing/rappeling. The zipline is only one line and is fairly lateral, so she could have skipped that tour.

Our deck at Casa Blanca was huge and it was hard to tear ourselves away from it, Happy Hour started mid-afternoon every day! :-))

If you are thinking of doing the Rio Esquina or Osa Wildlife Sanctuary tours, it's easier to do those from the lodges in Puerto Jimenez rather than wasting 2 hours on transfers from BdC. We spent our first three nights at Iguana Lodge specifically for beach time and those tours.
