Booster seats--storage or purchase?
We will be in Costa Rica in June and would like to use our kids' booster seats (they are ages 5 and 7 but are safer in the boosters even if not legally required). The problem is that our trip begins with a small, luggage limited flight to Osa during which we do not need or want to bring the booster seats. Will there be a place to store the darn things until we return and rent a car? Or is there a place to buy boosters in Costa Rica (they aren't expensive so we have no trouble buying them and then just leaving them there)?

I think you'd better not count on picking them up in Costa Rica--most kids don't use them there. Hopefully if someone has seen them at Hipermas or someplace similar, they'll chime in here. . .
Is there a hotel in the airport area where you will be staying at any time during your trip? If so, get acquainted with them a bit early and they'll certainly accomodate you.. . .especially the smaller Tico owned places.
I think I've read that Nature Air has storage facilities, not sure about Sansa. That would be your best bet.

Thanks, I'll try that. Maybe if I contact Bosque del Cabo and have them arrange our first night and the plane flight they can work to get that hotel they put us up at to keep the seats for us....

I know that they will do that, certainly. Also, if you are needing to book a hotel for your first night, I'd suggest Hotel Villa Bonita. $50, 5 min. from the airport. We store our things there all the time. The very personable Tico owners, Humberto and Carmen, have a little one as well--they'll be happy to help you.
