Best Way to Get From Cancun Hotel Zone to Isla Mujeres?

The easiest and quickest is to take the ferry from the hotel zone to IM, but it is not the cheapest! The cheapest is to take the bus or a cab to Puerto Juarez/Gran Puerto (next to each other) and take the regular public ferry (35 pesos each way, I think).l Public ferries run every half hour until about 8:00, then every hour.

The quickest, and I'm sure most expensive, is to hire someone like Cancun Valet to meet you at the airport and drive you to the ferry dock.
What we'll do in December is book a $9.00 shuttle ride with Best Day and probably get a 'free tour' through the hotel zone as a bonus. Or you can take the Riviera bus to the downtown Cancun bus station, then grab a cab to the ferry dock.
I'd just have a plan so you can not be distracted by the time share 'sharks' that hang out at the airport. Just keep walking......

We already own a timeshare there. But in the last 3 years we haven't made the day trip to Isla Mujeres, and I just wanted to know the best way to get there from the hotel zone (which I realize may not be the cheapest). I want fast and easy so I can enjoy the day there.
