Best Place in Mexico

We want to get married in Mexico in 2006. I just started researching beaches and villas. Anyone recommendations between Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa/Zihautenejo or Playa del Carmen/Tulum? Greatly appreciate any insight. Thanks.

Not Beach, but the best place is San Miguel de Allende, MX.
Full disclosure, I live there several months a year.

If you want beach, the Carribean side is better than the Pacific side.

I think Puerto Vallarta is an incredibly romantic town. picture-perfect on the Carribean side over the Pacific coast.

You truly cannot go wrong with either Puerto Vallarta or the Carribbean side!

If you made me choose, I'd go for the Carribbean! Tulum is one of the most spectacular sights I've ever seen!
Check out Ikal del Mar if money isn't a big object ;)!

Have you considered or looked into AKUMAL ? It is about 1 1/2 hours drive south of Cancun. There is a website that can tell you everything about the area,my family went there and stayed at Playa Caribe condo, very nice and very reasonable. the website if you are interested is Locogringo.com.
