We're looking for a beautiful hotel in the Manuel Antonio area of Costa Rica. We have little children who are really in to nature (bugs, snakes, lizards).

Many people speak highly of Manuel Antonio, but we want someplace with television for the evenings. Also, air conditioning is a must. Thanks.

Building 2 at Costa Verde would be good for children. We had television and air condicionint in the room. A balcony to sit on. There was a stove with dishes, pots and pans in the cabinet. It is next door to the MA national park. A good restaurant (open air) where your children would see animals come near. Also good food and a beautiful view.

I was also going to suggest Costa Verde.
We stayed in a bungalow where we also had access to one of the pools for those staying in the bungalows. Though the view is much better from where maryanne1 stayed. There is lots of wildlife around the complex... (monkies, Iguanas, geckos ect...)I think your kiddos would enjoy it there.

The resturants are good with a great view.
