Best Fishing Charter in Cabo?

Any suggestions on a good, reliable fishing charter in Cabo during Blue Marlin season? Prefer 35 foot or larger sportfish. Probably going to stay at the Hilton or Westin and if we can then go all out and stay at Palmilla.

I fished with Picante Sportfishing July 04 - see www.picantesportfishing.com - based on a recco from a friend. I chartered their flagship boat, also called Picante. This is the best outfitter in Cabo. Their office is in the shopping mall at the marina. Captain and 2 deckhands were great. I caught a small tuna, 91" striped marlin, 101" sailfish, 60" dorado and my wife landed a 50" dorado. Stayed at the Hilton and was very pleased with the property and service. Took tuna and mahi to the restaurant there and they prepared excellent sushi appetizer and mahi entree's for dinner that night. Enjoy!

We used Picante Thanksgiving '01. They seemed significantly more expensive than all competition and the results looked about the same as all others when I counted the flags at day's end.

Try the Solmar Fleet. It is a reputable, longtime charter fishing company and the gear is in excellent condition.

Best Regards,

I am the fishermans wife and he has fished with them all. He says cabo magic has made a huge impact on the way others do business there. I do like the friendly people in their office and the fish we enjoy that Bob catches. hope it helps. Anne
