best fish place in Playa Grande...

i love fish and want recommendations for the best fish restaurants in Playa Grande and also in Tamarindo, plus what you can expect to pay.
we'll be based in PG, but will be prepared to go to Tamarindo on a regular basis.

Rip Jack in has great tuna and dorado options. You could also try Las Tortugas or Kike's for a more typical whole fried fish plate. In Tamarindo, Pedro's on the beach in the circle is great!

Tamarindo has a lot of great places to have seafood. There are several between Diria and the turnaround, on the beach side of the road. Sorry I don't recall the names. Try something fresh, like Dorado, fried. It's not very heathy prepared that way but it is so good. Sort of like a crispy catfish fillet but thicker. Can't wait to get back in November.
