Best beach weather in July?

Hi all - my guess is that the northern Guanacaste coast will have the most consistent (not rainy) weather in July... is this right? I have always traveled in Feb-March but my friends are going next month and are worried about the rain. I want to give them good advice about the best region to travel to for beaches.

Thanks,
Amy

For me you are right it would be the place for less rainfall.Still
statistically you will get significant rain in the PM on
around 60% of vacation days in
that month.

Does make for beautiful sunsets...

We are there every July and it is not unusual for many days (even a week or 2) to pass without rain. That said, it isn't a guarantee whatsoever. Your chances, though, of good weather are excellent.

puertoviejosatillite.com

good link to give them view up to
date weather all over costa rica.

Zoon in on Nicoya for me usually looks the best in July but PM precip can be quite common...

www.costa-rica-guide.com is an excellent website that can help you view weather patterns for particular months. The rainfall map will give you a good indication.
