Belize weather July/August???
 

Hi guys, the only dates that we can travel is July or August however I don't want to go if it is always raining. Has anyone travelled at that time to offer true experience. We can go as late as the last 2 weeks in August if that is the best time using our time restraints. Thanks .. Cheers

We were in Belize from mid July to mid August 2003 and had a BLAST. I think it's a great time to visit - all green and fewer other tourists. When we were there it rained almost exclusively at night. We had a few cooling sprinkles on the odd day and only one day of steady, heavy rain which we absolutely loved. It will be hot and humid but not as hot as April and May, I've heard.

In 5 trips to CA in the summer we've never had a day spoiled by weather. I must admit, though, that we're lucky types when it comes to weather. Go and have a blast and then tell us all about it. Happy trails!
