Depends on where in Belize you are going because there is some variation in temps and rainfall around the country.

In general, it will be drier and a little hotter in March than in December. In most areas, almost no rain in March, fairly windy conditions on the cayes and coast, highs in the mid to high 80s F on the cayes and coast, a little hotter inland.

--Lan Sluder
www.belizefirst.com

It been a long time since my husband and I were in Belize but I remember a couple of occasions that are memorable regarding the weather. We always went in November and always to Ambergris Key.

One time we were walking down the street and a couple approached us and began complaining about the humidity. My hubby and I exchanged a glance and said "Where are you from?" They were from Arizona. We are from St. Louis, MO. The humidity in Belize was not a problem for us!

Another time we there they got in a "Blue Norther" and while we found the lack of sunshine a little bit of a downer, we were amused by the fact that all of the natives wore light jackets in the mid-70 degree temps and some of the school children were in real coats.

It is all relative!

Janice

December to March is the best time (weather-wise) to be in Belize. Inland it will be warm/hot and humid. On the cayes, hot, but often cool and breezy at night.
