Belize in May - Time to buy plane tickets?

We plan to visit Belize in early May departing from Atlanta. If you were a betting man (or woman) would you buy now or wait a little longer. The flight prices haven't budged much in the last couple of months!

BZE entry can be tricky and expensive.
cntraveler.com is saying they will not fall much
farecompare.com check every Tuesday for sales but
always book by mid-feb.

Another trick I do to save. www.spirit.com cheap flights to CUN(Cancun) take a mexican directo to Chetumal save hundreds usuually.

Or fly into GUA spirit.com work your way up pick up Tikal.
jaguartikal.com on your way if adventurous will also save a lot.

I just picked up flights from ATL to BZE yesterday on Continental (one stop in Houston) for $550/pp. This is in late June. I think Delta doesn't ever get below $600 these days.

Good job, Deb - now you don't have to respond on the other post, I know when you're going
Have a great trip and report back, please.

Yes, that is a good fare. I paid $732 in January for a trip April 21 non-stop from Newark to BZ but on the return we have 75 minutes in Houston. When you only have 6-7 days of vacation we found to save $100/person and add 2-3 hours to the trip often means getting to your destination at 4-5 PM and you are tired so you just snack and go to bed. I rather depart at 7-8 AM and be in the water at 4.

Stan,
Luckily we have a little longer than 6-7 days, but still not long enough...so it's non-stop for us!!!
