From the outside, there is no sign that the ArtSuites is not just another nice apartment building on the street.
You are buzzed in by the concierge, then go up a tiny elevator to your floor..there are 3 doors to apts on each floor. 2 in front, 1 in back. The rooms are modern, the furniture is modern and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are good. There is a nice closet with a safe..tv is either in the bedroom or living room..there is a dining table and a kitchenette. Maid service every day, breakfast (coffee & medialuna) is brought each morning, you tell them what time you want them to bring it. The guys at the desk will call taxis and make reservations for you for anything. There are good restaurants within blocks in every direction. Hope this helps :) |
Milltown: I believe the price for the Art Suites is unchanged.
What happens is that the $145 for your previous reservation included the 21% VAT and the $ 119 you mention does not. |
Hi - Just wanted to add two more questions to this apartment thread, if I may :) To those of you who rented from BA Habitat.
*How long did it take them to get back to you after your initial inquiry? I still haven't heard back from them. I know I'm going to have to be a little more relaxed if I'm going to hang out in BA, but still... :D *I'm looking at an apartment on Santa Fe, between Malabia St. & Scalabrini Ortiz St. - but I can't figure out of there are any grocery stores or cafes nearby (it's right next to the Scalabrini Ortiz metro stop). Anyone know how this area is? thanks! |

Just about every block in the city has a market of some sort, whether kiosk, supermercado or a Disco .. the most you would have to walk might be 2 blocks :) Same with cafes... |
M: I know my country, as well as its strengths and weaknesses.
Phone them. Their website shows two BA phone numbers: 54-11-4815-8662 and 54-11-4816-6405 If you prefer, they also show a Miami number: 305-735-2223 And stop fretting. May is NOT high season for tourism in BA. You'll be fine. |
Thanks for the suggestions - M.
