Back from AWESOME CR trip
 

Hello everyone, we got home 1 week ago and dont have alot of time right now to write a report pics but wanted to thank everyone that helped to make our trip so great. It definitely would not have been as good or easy as it was without all your help. Thanks.

Reality sure hit home going from 80s to the 20s and freezing rain and snow in one week. Also back to working 10 hours a day and 7 days a week. What I was working before we left.

We had one of best vacations ever and sure we will go back soon. BdC was all that it was made out to be and then some.

We had NO problems to speak of and went much better then I would have anticipated but alot of that has to do with all the help that we got.

As I said in a previous message, we saw Campjulie and also a coworker of Volcanogirl both at BdC. Had a great time of all of them.

Will end this for now but will post when I have sometime.

I will give a report ASP but with all my work and Xmas right around the corner it will be a challenge but I will as soon as possible.

xyz999, we were in CR for 17 days. 11 days we rented a SUV and the last 5 days we fly down to BdC. We rented a GPS from Thifty which we thought was worth ever penny. It was really a big help.

We were in Playa del Coco for 3 nights, 4 night in Arenal, 1 night in Poas, 2 nights in Saverge Lodge, 5 nights in BdC and the first and last night in San Jose. We loved every place and each was really unique to each other. We got a really good mixture of CR. Just wishing we were back there. I was so hard to go back home. We truly love the country and the people. We both shead a tear when we left BdC.

You re right Shillmac, hit it running too hard. Reality sometimes can be cruel but am finally accepting reality. haha. CR was such a small taste of retirement which is right around the corner. I know I cant just travel all the time. Would be nice.

Hip. it was nice meeting other Fodorites and a kinda funny meeting with Campjulie which i will share in my report.

MRand, will definitely give a report but wont be anyway as good as yours. I ve trying to right things down now before i forget too much but you have a great writing too
