August Weather in Mexico? Help!!!

I am planning a honeymoon for next August and my first choice is going to Zihuatanejo. According to the weather channel's website, with the humidity, the temp regularly feels above 100 F in August. Is the weather any more mild in Puerto Vallarta or Cabo?

How funny, I'd like to vacation in"Z" as well in August and I've heard the weather isn't good.

If anyone has stayed there in August, please reply.

Thx!!!

I can't speak to Cabo, but PV, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and Acapulco are all similar weather-wise -- HOT and humid in August. In Acapulco earlier this month highs were in the mid 90's and not much cooler at night. There is usually some wind, but it isn't exactly a cooling breeze. To me that's perfect weather for the beach or pool (as long as I can find some shade) but I know others who find it too hot.

We got back from there a week ago, and it was hot and sunny every day. I thought it was great beach weather. We had our part of the beach to ourselves because the end of August is slow down there. Prices to eat are reasonable, and there is plenty of selection. Just stay away from the "vacation club people", they are a pain and are after you as soon as you get off the plane!
